Exploring the Winter Wonderland of Cyprus While Cyprus is famous for its sun-kissed beaches and azure waters, a different magic unfolds during the colder months. As autumn turns the lush evergreen mountains to hues of gold, winter blankets the Troodos peaks in snow, offering a breathtaking contrast to the island’s usual warmth. Our winter adventure begins with a stop at a charming traditional Cypriot coffee shop (Kafenio) in a picturesque village, where you can enjoy authentic Cypriot coffee. The journey continues off-road, taking you through scenic trails up to some of the highest peaks of the Troodos Mountains. Along the way, we'll visit one of Cyprus’ historic monasteries, offering a peaceful stroll through its sacred grounds. Prepare for more thrilling off-road experiences as we ascend higher, with snow-capped mountain peaks providing a stunning backdrop. We’ll stop at the tiny village of Fikardou, a UNESCO-protected site, where time seems to stand still. Here, you can explore the cobbled streets or enjoy a traditional lunch by a cozy fireplace (lunch optional and not included in the tour price). Our off-road adventure resumes as we head towards one of Cyprus’ scenic water dams. Take in the panoramic views and capture the perfect photo before we make our final stop. Our last destination is the famed village of Lefkara, renowned as one of the ten most beautiful villages in Europe. Stroll through its narrow streets and discover Cyprus' timeless traditions, or relax in a cozy café with a warm cacao or tea before we begin our return journey. Hotel Pick-ups: Protaras between 8:00am – 8:15am Included: Pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation or agreed pick-up point. Transportation in a 4x4 Land Rover Defender with a driver/guide. Extras: Refreshments along the way. Opportunity to purchase local products and souvenirs. Lunch (optional and not included in the price).
